ABOUT US
Ted and Laurel French have served the Western South Dakota are for over 34 years. Originally from Winner, South Dakota, Ted and Laurel moved to Rapid City in 1985. This is their home. This is their community.
Ted is an Air Force veteran who served from 1968 to 1972 in the Air Training Command. For 8 years, he served as an honorary commander at Ellsworth Air Force Base. He deeply cares about the military community and its veterans.

Ted also serves on both the Military Affairs and the Dakota Thunder Committees. The Dakota Thunder Committe is responsible for planning the local air show.
Ted is a licensed Hearing Care Practitioner. Rich with experience, Ted can help you find the best solution to your hearing aid needs.

Hearing Aid Testing
Have you noticed you are missing out on conversations or not hearing well in all situations like in Church or with friends and family? Rapid City Hearing Aid Center can assess your hearing to determine any loss you may have. You don’t need a doctor’s prescription or referral.
Custom Fitting
After your hearing test, we can fit you with the best possible hearing aids. We strive to find the best fitting devices that are the most comfortable for you and your hearing loss. There is never a charge for any adjustments.
Service and Repairs
If you notice your hearing aid are not working properly, Rapid City Hearing Aid Center can make adjustments or repairs to get you back to enjoying life as you should. Our services include cleaning and checking your hearing aids.

Starkey brand is our main product. Starkey Hearing Technologies uses the Synergy Circuit, which was developed in Eden Prairie, MN.
